Finding Home Between the Holidays
Thanks for checking out the November edition of THE BRUCE BEAT, my monthly real estate newsletter!
As the holidays approach, most people shift their focus to family gatherings and travel plans, not house hunting. But that’s exactly why November can be one of the smartest times to buy a home. With fewer buyers in the market, there’s less competition and more room to negotiate. Sellers who keep their homes listed this time of year are often serious about making a deal, which can lead to opportunities that simply don’t exist in the busier spring and summer months.
And don’t worry—you can still enjoy the holidays without adding “house hunting” to your plate. So, go ahead and add another helping of sweet potato casserole to your plate instead and I’ll handle the hard part for you. From narrowing down the best options to scheduling showings, I’ll take care of the details so you can relax and enjoy the season while we quietly find your next home.
If you’ve been thinking about making a move, this quieter season could work in your favor. I’d be happy to walk you through what’s available and how to make the most of this buyer-friendly window before the year ends.
